Week 4 – Life little celebrations in a service card

Thus far it has been an amazing week, discovering insights in the “little things.”  When we imagine celebrations we often think of the big ones – weddings, holidays, Christmas, birthdays.  Celebrations can actually be found right here in this moment – the little moments.

One of the requirements in the master key mastermind alliance has been to create service cards (formerly identified as chore cards).   First, you list the chore/service you will complete for the week and the date you will complete the service.   With a colored pencil one either adds a blue rectangle, green triangle, red circle or yellow square.  Each service listed for the given week must be one you can have complete control over, meaning  the service does not require the assistance of another.    This is done on the lined side of an index card.  At the top you write the phrase, ” I promise to.”  At the bottom write, “I always keep my promises”  Sign your name.  On the reverse side write at the top, “I promise to manifest.”  In the center write down  your personal pivotal needs, my PPN’s are liberty and recognition for creative expression, (refer to Napoleon Hill’s THINK AND GROW RICH.)  At the bottom write, “I always keep my promises.”  Sign your name.  Once this was done,  read out loud this card with unbridled enthusiasm three times daily.

Now here is the amazing thing I have gained, as I am doing this “service”  I feel  like I am in the midst of a celebration.  I feel like I’m watching the dawn of a new day.  I feel like a kid opening a Christmas present.    It is all so exhilarating and exciting.

It reminds me of the experiences I once had as a Kindergarten teacher.  I sum it as follows:  “Kindergarten Teachers make the ordinary seem like the extraordinary.”

I pray you will find the extraordinary in the ordinary this coming week!

Week 3 – A Random of Act of Kindness

“… I will eliminate hatred, envy, jealousy, selfishness, and cynicism, by developing love for all humanity, because I know that a negative attitude toward others can never bring me success.”  Napoleon HIll.

On this day, I am writing to you from the beautiful country of Taiwan.  It has been a thrilling experience thus far, with many fascinating insights and epiphanies.

I have without fail ( well almost) remained true to the honor requirements of the master-key alliance, learning to visualize my heart’s desire even in a busy train station!  During this past week, aspects of the self-confidence formula as written in Napoleon Hill’s, THINK AND GROW RICH,  have come into my  life.  The experience follows.

One morning I am sitting in a hotel restaurant eating breakfast with my husband.  I observe a Chinese family exiting an elevator near by.  Within in this family group is a very elderly and frail looking gentleman and his wife.  The table next to us was suitable to seat a large party  (it was the only table near by for a large group), and was occupied by a group of gentlemen in the 40’s and 50’s.  Two waitresses approached the table of gentlemen and almost immediately these individuals got up and proceeded to another table in the restaurant.  Moments later the table is cleared and reset with new linens and crystal.  Much to my amazement the elderly gentleman and his wife were promptly seated.  Almost immediately the female waitresses and other women (probably daughters) served food and drink from the buffet to the elderly couple.

I was moved by this experience because as an American, I have observed so much neglect of human life, neglect of elders.  It seems Americans are missing a moral compass.  One can see many have forgotten to honor elders.   Respect for human life is often missing.  Sometimes, it seems that it’s “all about me.”  Not I.  This experience has renewed my committment to “… to develop love for all humanity. ”

Days later, my daughter and I are walking down a staircase to enter a train station.  An elderly couple was walking down the staircase carrying a heavy piece of luggage.   In a blink of an eye, I witnessed my daughter walking toward the couple, speaking in Chinese she offers to carry their luggage down the staircase.  Yes, I was a proud mother; but, more importantly, I was humbled by this moment.  There she was offering love in a random of act kindness.

So with a grateful heart, I propose the following:   Join me in giving a gesture of love  in a random act of kindness to some stranger this day.     All we really need is Love.

Week 2 – Heartfelt Desire in the face of Failure

When people think of success, what do they normally think of?  For most it is acquisition of the car, the house, ultimate vacation, or whatever.  In other words it seems  like life is about doing and having.     Honestly,  one has to “be” before the doing and the having occur.  If these layers are not removed, little if any will be accomplished.  It will like insanity.   What’s insanity?  The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. (Albert Einstein)  False beliefs have to be peeled away like the skin of an onion.

I know one thing for sure, as I have profoundly discovered this week,   heartfelt desire/purpose must ultimately serve others for the good of  others.  There is no room for pride, greed, envy or strife.    To insure your success you will need a vision, faith and right thinking.    I’m on this journey to discover and be more,  Be your own hero and join me.

Week 1 – Finding a Book with Far More Riches than a Buck!

Laying in bed last evening, I wandered off in thought contemplating , THE MASTER KEY SYSTEM.  Where did I get this book?  The story unfolds.  Several years ago in 2010, I was walking through out a shopping mall  looking to introduce myself to new people, because I was building my name’s list.  I walked into a Border’s book store.  The store was in the midst of a “store closing sale.”  As I rummaged through the $1.00 table, I found hidden from view the book, THE MASTER KEY SYSTEM.”  I read the front and back cover and decided this was a book for me to read.  Little did I know at the time, the challenge that laid ahead.  I made several shallow attempts to read the book, but found it to “heavy” to follow through.  So after several months of sitting by my bedside table, I stuck it on a book shelf.

Moving forward two years later in 2012, I am participating in the Go90Grow program, I am introduced to Napoleon Hill, THINK AND GROW RICH, (I am no stranger to this book, as I had read it in the early 1990’s.)  While participating in this course, I learned Hill had utilized Hannel’s book, THE MASTER KEY SYSTEM, has a guide.

My interest was peeked.  If I was going to be a student of Hill’s book, I challenged myself to take up reading Hannel’s, THE MASTER KEY SYSTEM in earnest.

Late in the fall of 2012 I finished THE MASTER KEY SYSTEM, I continued searching for books of the law of attraction, read many books, but so many seemed so shallow.

One day out of the clear blue, comes a Go90Grow bonus email from the World’s Laziest Networker, Mark Januszewski about the mastermind alliance scholarship offer.  I  jumped on board and now I’m on the 26 week adventure!

Why am I sharing all this?  because sometimes books, things, people happen in our lives for a reason.  Each time I have picked up THE MASTER KEY SYSTEM deep within there is a intuitive stirring.  I am reading this because The Universal Mind – GOD has a lesson for me to learn.  There is a reason and season for our experiences.   Doors open and close, we must be open minded to see beyond what is.    Don’t know what the lesson is, but when I discover it I will let you know.
